"It’s disorienting because they disappeared from the platform from ages 10-16 and then they suddenly emerge, post-puberty, okay with their parents posting about them again..." YES

I love cold weather running! Smart Wool running socks, a fleece headband to keep your ears warm and sometimes I toss on a Uniqlo puffy vest.

There is such a generosity (?, I'm trying to think of the right word) in sharing these stories with the wider world, as your kiddies always come across as so full of happiness and humanity, and it's lovely as a reader to find oneself rooting for kiddies we don't really know. :)

Cold running gear, we've just entered autumn drizzle and this Asics raintop makes me feel like an Olympic racer, even though I most definitely am not. https://outlet.asics.com/gb/en-gb/run-hood-jacket/p/2012A731-001.html

Hi Younga- I’m loving your newsletter! I was wondering if you have advice for apps for my 4 and 7 year old that don’t require WiFi. We need some good subway games. Thanks! Sarah

Hi Youngna, I'm a new subscriber and wanted to say hi and that I enjoyed reading this. Our kids are similar ages and I loved and relate to this line: "Lately I’ve become aware that my kids are leaving the phase of being a certain kind of well-documentable because their inner lives are becoming bigger than their outward expressions."

Also, running attire but not necessarily for cold weather... I love my Hokas, both the running shoe and the recovery sandals for around the house.

I also just started running again after ten years of doing other exercise (mostly yoga and barre). I promptly ordered that merino layer. Thank you!

Did you read the Romper article where they interviewed teenage children of OG mom bloggers? It was very interesting!
