this is really well laid out, Youngna, and totally on point... i think all of us parents who post on IG are "guilty" of this kind of thing... the platforms amplify this stuff, but of course it exists in every aspect of "real life" too -- it's natural to try to put the best versions in the most visible places... but the range is wide, on how extremely that manifests... and it's so true that money factors heavily on how easy it is to present one's parenting (and children) as seeming effortlessly successful and clean... let it be messy! thanks for your honesty
