This sounds uncannily like my Spring, except sub your elementary school kids with my college kids and an elementary school graduation with a college graduation and now you have the jenga of musical rooms when your oldest moves back home while we still try to preserve an office while the younger one is still in college. Whew!
Oh god, I was hoping this was the last major room shift-around but I do see that in my future! The musical chairs of it all is insane-making! Like, just give me a clean surface of my own!
I hear you. None of my friends are downsizing or selling because most all the NYC kids I know are moving back home after college because nobody can afford rents here if they want to stay.
It's from Bed Bath and Beyond...however, I wouldn't exactly say that I recommend it, yet, though it did meet the various criteria that we had for desk, height, and shelving. We got another (slightly different) one for Julian's room from Max + Lily that is much sturdier and was significantly easier to build.

Where is the loft bed from? My daughter has been asking for one too for her room makeover and I keep putting it off.

Good to know! I like all the storage in that one but I’ll look at Max and Lily too. We have pretty low ceilings so the height matters.
