The one thing I wonder about the Yoto and other types of players is I never hear reviews about the quality of the stories. We have a small, portable bluetooth speaker (from ages ago, the brand is Nude, no longer made I think), and we download audiobooks from our library's iCloud app, which my 5yo listens to for hours. I feel good supporting the library, and sometimes the search function is funky but we have listened to hours of so many quality stories, I almost can't stand some of the shorter podcast ones anymore. This also removes the "device" issue, and he can carry the speaker with him where ever he wants.
