I went back and watched all the early Luca Guadagnino films recently after seeing Challengers. A Bigger Splash!!! Gorgeous, complex & absurdly hilarious movie with all-time great performances by Tilda Swinton and Ralph Fiennes
Movies: I just watched 'The Women' (2008) and though very typical in many ways, still quite enjoyable. Also, not from the early aughts, but I recently really enjoyed 'Am I Ok?' with Dakota Johnson and Eric Rohmer's 'A Tale of Springtime'.
Somehow I got my Mikes mixed up, but this made me think of the Mike Leigh movie 'Happy-Go-Lucky'. Sally Hawkins as Poppy is one of my favourite real-but-cheerful-lovely movie characters of all time.
I really like the topeak rack/basket set up for versatility, maximum grocery transport. But my current bike has a rack with these bikezak grocery bag panniers, which are light, cheap, hold a lot, and I won’t be devastated if they got stolen.
